The 2011 SCREAM awards announced its winners at last weekend’s ceremony, with HBO scooping up 6 awards. The SCREAM awards are the first and only worldwide annual event dedicated exclusively to honouring the Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror and Comic Book genres.
The new drama, Game of Thrones, came away with Best TV Show, as well as Peter Dinklage being awarded Best Supporting Actor and Emilia Clarke Best Female Breakout Performance.
True Blood scooped up the Best Ensemble award and Alexander Skarsgård won Best Horror Actor with Best Male Breakout Performance going to Joe Manganiello.
