HBOuk is pleased to announce that The Pacific has continued to be a groundbreaking title as it won the 2011 BVA (British Video Awards) for Marketing Initiative of the year – Television, beating tough competition from Glee Season 1 and Downton Abbey. The HBO Home Entertainment UK team were extremely proud to win the industry award with the accomplishment being recognised by HBO Home Entertainment President Henry McGee saying it was a “wonderful recognition of the UK team’s innovative work”.
